Mysore course for beginners and advanced

Cours Mysore pour débutants et avancés

The "Mysore" course is the traditional form of Ashtanga teaching, as Pattabhi Jois taught at the beginning.

All Ashtanga practitioners, even those who begin with the guided practices, will come to Mysore practice, for it is only through this that one advances towards deep self-knowledge.

This approach will develop quite quickly 3 of the 7 branches of Yoga: Pratyahara (control of the senses), Dharana (concentration) and Dhyana (meditation). (For more information regarding the branches of Yoga, please visit the section " Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga).

Mysore classes are a form of silent and autonomous practice, in which everyone can follow their own pace and enter a state of very deep moving meditation. The teacher takes care of everyone as in an individual lesson and you also benefit from the energy of the group.

In a Mysore course each student learns little by little the series and evolves to the rhythm of his breath. The teacher can thus adjust the students in the postures and give them variations adapted to their physical conditions.

The student benefits from the attentions given during a private lesson while benefiting from the energy of a group lesson.

Mysore is a unique way of teaching, which allows the student to be able to quickly establish a personal practice and to progress quickly.
