Hatha-Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a sequence of postures (asanas in Sanskrit).
As Hatha-Yoga is a discipline for everyone, there are different levels depending on whether you are a beginner or more experienced in the discipline.
Unlike a gymnastics sequence, postures must be maintained long enough: about 1/2 minutes per posture.
It is associated with breath control (pranayama) and concentration.
As with other forms of yoga, Hatha-Yoga allows an improvement in the practitioner’s overall form as the practice progresses.

It has many benefits:

physically:

  • more flexibility,
  • a reinforced skeleton and joints and the disappearance of back problems;

mentally:
 • more concentration,
 • improved memorization,
 • a clearer mind;

emotionally:
 • better stress management,
 • less anxiety,
 • better sleep quality.

All this can only be seen if one is diligent in one’s practice. Hatha-Yoga, like all other forms of yoga, requires patience and perseverance and above all a very regular practice!
